George nods, pacing the room in his baggy clothes. The ceremony is gonna be barely anything, it’s not like some Jesus shit at a church. “You can calm down,” Sapnap says sagely, putting his phone down. So when Karl brought up wearing each other’s clothes for the wedding George was excited and secretly very smitten about it. They used to trade clothes a lot when they were long distance, hoodies, shirts, jackets, even shoes and socks when it turned into Their Thing. The girls are all in whatever dresses they want to wear, and George and Karl probably look fucking ridiculous. The groomsmen are in similar clothes, less than fancy but still nice. “I need to calm down.” He says to Sapnap, who’s still on his phone in a button down and black dress pants. He has his vows written out in chicken scratch handwriting only he can read, and if he keeps worrying the paper with his sweaty hands the pen is gonna smudge so he needs to calm down. A grand gesture, and George isn’t good at that kind of thing. It took a good amount of time with support from his roommates and boyfriend to get him to be more transparent, and with Karl it’s gotten a lot easier, but this is… a lot. When he used to live here when him and Karl first got together and did long distance, he was super emotionally constipated. He’s too busy working himself into a fit by having to, like, confess his love in front of everyone he knows. He got Sylvee as a bridesmaid too but she’s dealing with catering drama so he’s endlessly grateful that someone who isn’t him is worrying about it. Sapnap is with him just sitting by on his phone while he gets dressed and talks his nerves out. George is weird about being sappy with an audience, so this is already nerve-wracking for him. There’s only about twenty chairs set up and that’s the way they wanted it. The guest list is pretty tight: family and close friends only. He’s the officiant, and he’s most likely to cry first as has been voted on by the guests. Dream matched his outfit to the archway: a white button down with a light pink bowtie and beige chinos. They’re magnolias: pretty white with touches of pink. Besides that it’s just folding chairs and an archway of flowers and vines. It’s an earthy green mansion in the deep woods of Orlando so the backyard has ample shade and plenty of trees to hang up lights. The Dream Team house is a good looking house.
